The Namery began as a side venture for Pink Sky, LLC back in 2013, but in 2018 we decided it was time to start an entirely new organization focused solely on naming.

We have a dedicated naming team with a unique knack and process for uncovering great names that connect well with their intended target audience. This team has perfected their art over years of time working together and the results show!
We don’t name your product in a vacuum.
What makes our naming approach unique is we bring in all kinds of learning, outside inspiration, and insights into the naming process. This helps us generate a name that communicates the needed information about your product/service in just a word or two, to help it stand out from the competition. Our process generates great names quickly.

Working Closely With Clients Throughout the Process Is Key For Success:
Our philosophy is early and often when it comes to getting client feedback during the naming process. Naming is so personal; we may love a name but it might trigger a different feeling for a client as we each have different experiences with words.
eg. a name might remind them of a book they had to read in middle school that they hated!
That’s why we keep you in the loop every step of the way to generate names that personally connect to you and your team.
Our typical naming process takes 1 to 2 weeks start to finish.
Because naming is often the last thing clients do in the process, it is critical for us to be agile and impactful in the least amount of time. Our process allows us to meet even the tightest timelines.

Here are a few key factors for successful name development:
- The name must instantly communicate what makes the brand unique and special.
- The name must be distinct and work within the competitive space.
- Check the availability of memorable domain names for the name selected.
- The name should be catchy and sound good when you say it out loud.
- Select a name that can be trademarked.
